There is only one Botox cosmetic injection that we preform at Simply Injectables. Oddly, it is referred to as the “jelly roll”. Only certain clients are candidates for this injection. It is important to understand that everyone will have some degree of fine lines in the undereye region. When we smile, our cheek volume is lifted and creates little folds under the eye. This is inevitable and if taken away looks extremely insincere and unnatural. Imagine what this would look like by holding your cheek down with a finger as you smile. Not a great look.
When smiling, the muscle that encircles the eye pulls up and creates a roll under the eye. One unit of Botox placed here can soften the appearance of this roll. See examples below. It is important to note that this will not completely eliminate undereye fine lines but can decrease the harshness of this one particular fold.
